The delegation from the Çukurova University Rectorate first made a series of visits in Van. The delegation welcomed by Van Yüzüncü Yıl University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Şefik Tüfenkçioğlu visited Van Yüzüncü Yıl University as well as historical and touristic places of Van. After visiting the Ahlat Seljuk Cemetery, the delegation visited Bitlis Eren University Rector Prof. Dr. Necmettin Elmastaş in his office.
After the conversation and gift giving at the Rectorate of Muş Alparslan University, a meeting with breakfast was held in which academic unit chiefs and the vice rectors responsible for the Council of Higher Education Anatolian Project Prof. Dr. Murad Aydın Şanda and Prof. Dr. Ulaş Çaydaş participated. At the meeting, the projects that could be carried out by the two universities together and the international symposiums that could be organized jointly were discussed. The parties who agreed that the course mobility going on since last year has had highly important results, reached a concensus that mutual visits should be made by the lecturers and students with the start of face-to-face education.
After the meeting with the academic unit chiefs, the university complex buildings and the historical and touristic places of Muş were visited. Giving information about the city to his guests Prof. Dr. Fethi Ahmet Polat underlined that Muş is a student-friendly province with its hospitable and friendly people. Expressing that she was very pleased with the hospitality she experienced in Muş and that she wanted to visit Muş Alparslan University again as soon as possible Çukurova University Rector Prof. Dr. Meryem Tuncel, together with her delegation, went to Siirt University to hold talks within the scope of Council of Higher Education Anatolian Project.
