Cultural Convention Centre Hosted Negotiations on Agricultural Problems

A focus group meeting was held in our university on the problems of agriculture in Muş to exchange views with the managers of the agricultural stakeholders of the province within the scope of the project supported by TÜBİTAK about the determination of the tendency of the young population to stay in agriculture.

Having visited Rector Prof. Dr. Fethi Ahmet Polat before the meeting, the delegation conveyed the details of the studies on the subject. During the courtesy visit which included a working team of academicians from Yozgat Bozok University headed by Dr. Bekir Ayyıldız and which also included one of the producers who made trial teams in the TİGEM field, Harun Altan and his accompanying delegation, Rector Polat talked about the studies carried out at Muş Alparslan University regarding agricultural problems in Muş.

At the meeting held in the 1071 Malazgirt Congress and Cultural Center senate room, the delegation gathered under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Yaşar Karadağ, Vice Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences. Having been held at eight universities within the scope of the project titled "The Effects of Rural Migration on the Agricultural Sector and Determination of the Tendency of Young Population to Stay in Agriculture, Political Approaches" under the direction of Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Faculty of Agriculture and Yozgat Bozok University Faculty of Agriculture as a researcher, the eighth meeting was held at Muş Alparslan University. Managers of our agricultural stakeholders attended the meeting.
