Workshop on the Future Perspective of Turkish Beekeeping Ended with the Publication of the Final Report

The final report of the Future Perspective of Turkish Beekeeping Workshop which is organized online by our University’s Faculty of Applied Sciences and Beekeeping Application and Research Center (ARIMER) has been shared with the public.

Our rector, Prof. Dr. Fethi Ahmet Polat, who is the Honorary Chairman of the Workshop, Workshop Chairman and Vice Rector, and Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences Prof. Dr. Yaşar Karadağ, Workshop Coordinator Asst. Prof. Dr. Dilek Kabakçı, Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry Mehmet Aydın, Turkish Beekeepers' Central Union President Ziya Şahin, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ulaş Çaydaş, General Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policies affiliated to the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Directorate General of Plant Production, Directorate General of Agricultural Enterprises, Central Directorate of Seed Registration and Certification, Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution, Provincial Agriculture and Forestry Managers and their staff, academics from different universities and faculties, superiors from state institutions, stakeholder institution representatives, Eastern Anatolia Development Agency, Turkey Zootechny Federation, Turkish Beekeepers' Central Union, Muş, Ordu, Gökçeada, Tekirdağ, Kırklareli, Muğla Beekeepers' Association, our students and producers participated to the workshop.

Based on the papers presented at the workshop, a final report containing 38 articles was prepared.
